Custom React checkout for a Magento 2 (Hyvä) store

Context

An e-commerce store built on Magento 2 (Hyvä), where a custom checkout replaces the default one.

What I did

I led development of the custom checkout and architected a scalable React frontend inside an Nx monorepo, which enabled modular development and faster team velocity. The default Magento checkout was replaced with a high-performance, fully customizable React-based solution that improved checkout UX and reduced friction in the purchase flow. It integrates with backend services through APIs, keeping the integration reliable and maintainable.
